Love the chicken farmer story and hearing about his background that possibly transitioned him into journalism.

Like Olaf, I feel like it is interesting to see what exactly people do when they are stuck between a rock and a hard place. In some ways I think it has to with someone's stubbornness. If they're stubborn, I think they'll find a middle ground because they won't want to chose either option. Maybe stubborn is a harsh term to use. I guess it can be seen as a person's "drive" too.

Its interesting that if Hari's parents had stayed in India that he would have certainly been born there, I wonder if he would have still had the same calling or if it would have been different? I don't know whether calling is within us or is influenced by our environments.

I am entranced by this interview and really appreciate Hari's chicken farmer story. I wonder two things: 1) If Hari was not forced into this situation (e.g. he had to get the story), would he have simply gone home? 2) How many people, when forced to choose between two options, actually find a creative middle ground.
