This is a question we ask all our patients at the first group therapy session after arriving at our inpatient, executive drug rehab program. Recovering addicts need to start valuing not only their physical self, by taking on a healthy, drug-free lifestyle, but their self-worth as well. By asking them about problems they have solved for themselves or for others they start to introspect on times of accomplishment and what it feels like to be important.

That moment between Jeneen and her friend is nice, but I wish this featured more of her thoughts and insights about graduating, although the look on her face did tell me she has entered a new stage in her life.
