I think there needs to be more of an acceptance of humor in serious matters as well as serious matters in humor. I think George Bernard Shaw spoke of this balance, which I view as necessary, when he said "Life does not cease to be funny when people die anymore than it ceases to be serious when people laugh." I think this integration of humor in seriousness and seriousness in humor will help us have a better balance in our lives.
