The thing is i don't know what i want to do. But I do know that I like helping people so i thought nursing or social work, i can't really handle blood and guts and i think i'd get too attached to these children that i'd be dealing with in social work. I do like travel, though i've never been out of my state .
I am absolutely amazed at how terrific the stuff is on this site. I have saved this webpage and I truly intend on visiting the site in the upcoming days.
Dear Viewers,
I want to publicly acknowledge two inaccuracies in this video, one of my causing, the other not. I am embarassed about both. First, only one of my grandparents cleaned toilets (and did other work as a maid). Both worked their way out of poverty, but only one did so in that way, and only for a limited period. I apologize for misspeaking and doing so inappropriately. Also, the grandmother depicted in this video is not the one of whom I spoke during the video -- as noted to producers.
I also wanted to apologize to my grandparents and family who may have been offended by my comments in the video. I take full responsibility for them, though I do maintain that my grandparents indeed had a calling to make a new life for themselves and their children in America -- even when it required challenging physical labor. To me this suggests that the idea of a "calling" may be universal phenomena. It's a matter of recognizing the significance of the work we do.
My sincere aplogies,
Joshua Stanton
